In this evolution that began as a barren backyard, my Hamptons in the NW project extends outside, unveiling meticulously crafted destination outdoor living spaces that seamlessly harmonize with the home I envisioned for our family.

ONCE UPON A TIME

A FAMILY FAIRY TALE IN THE MAKING

Like our homes in South Africa, my goal was to have the design flow seamlessly from the indoors to the outdoors, with a focus on entertaining family and friends, and hosting large celebrations around the pool.

A TODIFOR TRANSFORMATION

The back yard started off as a flat patch of dirt.

The first order of business was to create multiple levels in the back yard to delineate the various destination spaces, and to create visual appeal and contrast in the design plan.
